The STCH Product horizontal slat aluminium balustrade system is a premium architectural solution designed to deliver a balance of privacy, airflow, and modern visual appeal.
Featuring precision-aligned horizontal slats with consistent 12mm spacing, this system creates a clean linear façade while maintaining openness and light penetration. It is suitable for both residential and commercial applications where durability, compliance, and design are critical.
Manufactured in-house using high-grade aluminium, the system offers long-term performance in Australian conditions, including coastal environments, without the risk of corrosion or ongoing maintenance requirements.
Each balustrade is custom fabricated to suit project dimensions and installed using engineered fixing methods appropriate to the substrate.
1. Application of This Policy
This Returns & Refund Policy applies to all goods and services supplied by STCH Product Pty Ltd (“STCH Product”, “we”, “our”, “us”) within New South Wales and Australia.
By proceeding with any quotation, approval, or payment, the client (“Client”, “you”) agrees to be bound by this policy.
2. Nature of Products (Custom Fabrication)
All products supplied by STCH Product are:
- Custom-designed
- Made-to-order
- Fabricated to project-specific dimensions and specifications
Accordingly, such goods are non-resalable and not subject to return except as required under law.
3. No Refunds for Change of Mind
To the maximum extent permitted by law, STCH Product does not provide refunds, returns, or cancellations for:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect selection or specification by the Client
- Failure to review or approve drawings properly
- Variations requested after approval
Once shop drawings, specifications, or site measurements are approved, the order becomes final, binding, and non-refundable.
4. Deposits & Progress Payments
- All deposits are non-refundable once:
- Materials have been ordered, or
- Fabrication has commenced
- Deposits represent:
- Procurement of materials
- Allocation of labour and production capacity
- Project scheduling commitments
Failure to proceed after this point does not entitle the Client to a refund.
5. Cancellation
If the Client cancels the project:
- Before fabrication:
STCH Product reserves the right to retain any deposit to cover administrative costs and material procurement. - After fabrication has commenced:
The Client is liable for all costs incurred, including:- Materials
- Labour
- Fabrication
- Overheads and lost scheduling
6. Defects & Remedies
Where a product is proven to have a manufacturing defect, STCH Product will, at its sole discretion:
- Repair the product; or
- Replace the defective component
Refunds will only be provided where:
- A major failure exists under the
Australian Consumer Law - And the issue cannot be reasonably rectified
7. Exclusions (No Liability)
STCH Product is not liable for defects, damage, or failure arising from:
- Misuse, abuse, or neglect
- Impact damage or third-party interference
- Installation by others (unless agreed in writing)
- Structural movement, settlement, or substrate failure
- Exposure to extreme weather conditions
- Lack of proper maintenance
8. Installation & Rectification Rights
Where STCH Product is engaged for installation:
- The Client must provide reasonable access for inspection and rectification
- STCH Product must be given the first opportunity to rectify any issue
Failure to allow rectification:
- Voids any claim for refund, replacement, or damages
9. Manufacturing Tolerances
All products are subject to industry-standard tolerances.
Minor variations in:
- Dimensions
- Alignment
- Finish or colour
do not constitute defects and are not grounds for return, rejection, or refund.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- STCH Product’s liability is limited to:
- Repair; or
- Replacement; or
- The cost of repair or replacement
STCH Product is not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential loss
- Loss of profit, business, or opportunity
- Project delays outside of our control
11. Indemnity
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless STCH Product, its directors, employees, and contractors from and against any:
- Claims
- Losses
- Damages
- Costs (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis)
arising from:
- Incorrect information, measurements, or specifications provided by the Client
- Misuse or unauthorised modification of the product
- Failure to comply with installation or maintenance requirements
- Acts or omissions of third parties
12. Compliance with Law
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies the Client may have under:
- Australian Consumer Law
Where required by law, STCH Product will provide remedies including repair, replacement, or refund.
13. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.STCH Product provides delivery of all fabricated aluminium and steel systems across Sydney and surrounding areas. Due to the custom nature of our products, all deliveries are scheduled in coordination with fabrication completion and project timelines.

- Standard lead time: 2–4 weeks (subject to project scope)
- Lead times commence after:

🚛 Delivery Method
- Delivered via STCH Product trucks or approved transport providers
- Large or heavy items may require:
- Crane truck delivery
- Mechanical unloading
Delivery method will be confirmed prior to dispatch.
🏗️ Site Requirements
The Client must ensure:
- Safe and clear access to site
- Adequate space for unloading
- Suitable access for delivery vehicles (including trucks with cranes if required)
If site access is restricted:
- Additional charges may apply
- Delivery may be rescheduled
📦 Unloading Responsibility
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- STCH Product will deliver materials to site
- Unloading assistance may be required from the Client or builder
- Any specialised lifting (e.g. crane, hoist) is the Client’s responsibility unless included in the quote
⚠️ Risk & Responsibility
Risk in the goods passes to the Client upon:
- Delivery to site; or
- Collection from STCH Product facility
STCH Product is not responsible for:
- Damage after delivery
- Theft or loss on site
- Improper handling by third parties
🕒 Delays
STCH Product is not liable for delays caused by:
- Site readiness issues
- Weather conditions
- Traffic or transport disruptions
- Supplier or material delays
- Events beyond reasonable control
We will make reasonable efforts to notify the Client of any delays.
📅 Delivery Scheduling
- Delivery dates are indicative only
- Final delivery timing will be confirmed prior to dispatch
- Clients must be available to receive goods on the agreed date
Missed deliveries may incur:
- Re-delivery fees
- Storage charges
🏢 Collection (If Applicable)
Clients may arrange collection from our Sydney facility by prior agreement.
- Collection must be scheduled in advance
- Suitable transport and load restraint is required
- STCH Product is not responsible for damage during third-party transport
